DESCRIPTION:On Saturday December 1st\, the Town of Cheraw will host ChristmasFest\, a downtown family-friendly Christmas  event to celebrate the Christmas season as well as create  traffic for our local businesses.  During this one-day event\, those attending will enjoy a fun-filled day including a dazzling ChristmasFest fireworks display at dusk.  The following are some of the activities that will be happening... 11:00 am-12:00 noon: Theatre on the Green: "Whoville Meets Cheraw-Ville"\n\n12:00 noon-5:30 pm\; 100 block of Market St: Reindeer Games (Rudolph's Turbo Tubs\, Dasher's Dash-away Slide\, Blitzen's Bounce House)\n\n12:00 noon-5:30\; 1o0 block of Market St.:The Christmas Carousel\n\n12:00 noon-5:30\; 100 block of Market St.: Holiday Bake Shoppe (Brought to you by the Cheraw Chamber of Commerce) $1.00 Buys you a sugar cookie and we'll help you decorate it anyway you like!\n\n12:00 noon  8:00 pm\; Second St. Horse Drawn Carriage Rides\n\nThese events along with roving Christmas Characters\, Entertainment at the Village Square\, the Oh! Christmas Trees at Centennial Park\, Santa Claus coming to town \, The Polar Express as well as the fireworks display at dusk and OnStage's presentation of their newest work\, "Sorry\, Wrong Chimney at 7:30 pm will complete a truly festive ChristmasFest.
